Aaron Stenberg, CCIM

Vice President of Construction & Property Management

Aaron Stenberg joined the Duemelands Commercial Real Estate team in the early 2000s. He was previously utilizing his Chemical Engineering degree from the University of North Dakota by working in an engineering position and has made a seamless transition into the real estate marketplace. Aaron has his broker’s license and is an Associate Broker in the firm. By doing over $10,000,000 in transactions in his first few years, Aaron was able to obtain the highly recognized Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation and continually utilizes his knowledge earned throughout the CCIM curriculum. Aaron is also involved with Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM) and has recently received his Certified Property Manager (CPM) designation. He is one of only a very few to have such a distinguished designation in western North Dakota.

Aaron’s primary focus is construction development and property management. His engineering background gives him the analytical fortitude needed to make sound decisions and pay attention to all details to ensure every step in a transaction and/or decision is done properly. This includes in-depth examination on subjects ranging from rates of return, demographic detail analysis, bid assessment, and leasing processes. Aaron works individually and closely with the firm’s other partners to help meet client goals. He takes time to listen to exactly what the client ultimately desires, and then works diligently to produce the ideal outcome.

Aaron’s recent construction management projects include a Verizon building renovation, a new HuHot strip center development, a Montana Mike’s restaurant, a new Wal-Mart outlet strip center development, and a FedEx Freight terminal expansion.

Aaron’s primary property management focus is in retail and office sectors, handling multiple properties in the western North Dakota area. In conjunction with colleagues, the property management services provided are responsive and personal. All property issues are treated with the utmost importance.

Outside the work environment, Aaron is an active supporter of non-profit organizations such as Younglife, Carrie’s Kids, and Welcome House homeless program.

Aaron, his wife Jill, and their four children reside in the Bismarck-Mandan area and enjoy spending summertime weekends at the lake.
